✨ Meilė and Gintaras’ Christening and Justas & Eglė’s Wedding in Ignalina District

On August 8th, a truly special celebration took place – the christening of Meilė and Gintaras and the wedding of Justas and Eglė in Ignalina district. This magical day brought family and friends together in the cozy village of Mielagėnai, where everyone gathered at the Mielagėnai St. John the Baptist Church for a heartfelt ceremony. 💒✨

The Sacred Ceremony at Mielagėnai Church ⛪

The celebrations began at the historic Mielagėnai Church, a place deeply rooted in the spiritual and cultural traditions of Ignalinos. Family and friends gathered to witness the christening of little Meilė and her brother Gintaras, as well as the heartfelt wedding vows of Justas and Eglė.

For those interested in visiting, the church itself is a part of Lithuania’s cultural heritage — you can learn more about Mielagėnai Church and its history.

The atmosphere during the ceremony was a mixture of sacred silence and joyful emotions. Children giggled quietly in the pews, grandparents smiled with pride, and the couple exchanged vows surrounded by people who mean the most to them.

After the Ceremony – Family Photos & Celebration 📸🌿

Once the ceremony concluded, the celebration continued just outside the church. Guests gathered in the warm summer air, enjoying snacks, drinks, and conversation. This was also the perfect time for candid photography moments — hugs, laughter, and children running happily across the churchyard.

We started a family photo session near the church, capturing portraits of the newlyweds, the christened children with their godparents, and groups of family members who had traveled from near and far.

Later, the celebration continued at Paliesius Manor – a unique venue in the Ignalina district, well known for its rich history, cultural events, and timeless beauty.

The manor provided a perfect setting for the photo session. Every shot reflected family bonds, children’s joy, and the newlyweds’ love. The peaceful surroundings and authentic charm of Paliesius Manor made this day unforgettable.

Why This Day Was So Special 💕

It’s rare to capture two sacraments in one day — the baptism of children and the wedding of their parents. This gave the entire event a sense of unity and deep meaning. It was not only about tradition, but also about family bonds, faith, and love that ties generations together.

As a photographer, I felt truly honored to document these moments. Every smile, every glance, every embrace told a part of the story. This is why I believe that photography is not just about pictures, but about preserving emotions and stories for future generations.

Golden Moments & Giggles: Saule’s Baptism in Palanga 🌞💒

“A christening photoshoot in Palanga can become one of the most beautiful family moments – that’s exactly what little Saulė’s day was, full of emotions and warmth.”

Every photo tells a story — and Saule’s christening day was a story filled with sunshine, family love, and the pure joy only a little child can bring. From sacred moments at the altar to laughter in the garden, this day reminded me once again why I love being a family photographer in Lithuania.

💒 Where It All Began: St. Virgin Mary’s Assumption Church

The heart of this beautiful day was the St. Virgin Mary’s Assumption Church in Palanga — a place full of peace, history, and spiritual presence. As guests arrived and soft organ music played, little Saule — in her delicate white gown — became the center of everyone’s attention.

There were happy tears, gentle touches, and lots of whispered blessings. Even during the more serious parts of the ceremony, Saule managed to sprinkle the moment with giggles — proving once again that children bring life wherever they go.

👣 Light-Hearted Steps in the Botanical Garden

After the ceremony, we headed to one of my favorite photo spots: Palanga City Botanical Park. With sunbeams streaming through the trees and benches inviting families to rest and cuddle, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect.

Saule, still glowing with energy, explored the garden with her brother and grandparents, chasing light, laughter, and dandelions. These are the kinds of photos that don’t need posing — they’re made of connection, movement, and natural joy.

📸 Pro tip for families: Bring a change of shoes for the little ones, and don’t worry about perfection — authenticity makes the most magical portraits.

👵 Grandma’s Hands, Grandpa’s Eyes. Dressed with gentle elegance, they watched their granddaughter being blessed — eyes soft, smiles tender. You could see it in the way grandma adjusted Saule’s dress, smoothing the lace with familiar hands that had done the same for Saule’s mother decades ago. You could feel it in the way grandpa whispered a quiet. In those moments, I remembered why I love capturing multi-generational love — the kind of love that speaks without words.

👦 A Brother’s Proud Smile

Outside, under the shade of Palanga City Botanical Park, Saule’s big brother ran circles around her, always keeping one eye on the camera — and one on her. He helped her sit on the grass. He gave her a dandelion. He made her laugh. At one point, he whispered something into her ear and she broke into a smile so genuine, I barely had time to lift my camera. It’s in these spontaneous moments that the soul of sibling photography comes alive.

🌿 A Family Rooted in Love

This wasn’t just a baptism. It was the celebration of a family’s history, strength, and gentle bond. For a photographer, it’s rare to find such an emotionally open family — one that laughs easily, embraces often, and sees photography not as posing, but as storytelling. “I wanted these moments to feel like memories you can hold in your hands,” I told them. And when they looked at their gallery, I could see that it worked.

🌞 Want to Remember Your Family This Way?

If you’re dreaming of a natural, emotion-filled photo session during your child’s baptism, I’d love to help you capture those beautiful in-between moments — the ones you’ll treasure long after the candles are blown out and the flowers have faded.

🌿 Emotional Wedding at Trakai Vokė Manor Homestead🌿

A wedding day is more than just a celebration. It’s a feeling. A promise. And when it happens at Trakų Vokė Manor – it becomes something truly magical.

We fell in love with this place all over again. The manor’s grandeur, the romantic park, the timeless halls and sunlight pouring through the windows created the perfect setting for one of the most emotional ceremonies of the season. 💍

The floral decor was soft and romantic – peonies, roses, and hydrangeas told the couple’s love story without a single word. Every detail was carefully curated – from the elegant ceremony arch to silk-tied napkins at the reception. 💐

And that champagne table! 🥂 Set at the foot of the manor’s grand staircase, overlooking the lush gardens, it wasn’t just a place for drinks – it became a moment to pause, to connect, to feel. The sound of clinking glasses, the soft laughter, and golden light captured a memory we’ll never forget.

But what truly made this wedding unforgettable were the emotions. The way the couple looked at each other – with real love, deep warmth, and quiet joy. There were tears, smiles, and a genuine sense of connection that wrapped around everyone present. You could feel it in the air: this was love, raw and real.
